this has been sitting in my room waiting to be titled,
so i did it this morning,
to be honest i have been a bit lazy with naming it, usually i do it there and then, but what the heck, its done now.
another painted over painting,
when things go wrong with my initial ideas, thats when the good stuff comes out,
i do like this, i think its different to what i've done before,
and for that i like it,
acrylic on canvas
24x24x1.5 inch

as though each vivid, independent stroke had its own voice. and there's certainly a contrast between the vivacious colours and the surrounding bleakness; much like music/sound and silence.
that figure is also essentially shapeless, exactly like sound. this is beautiful in that it is both erupting and standing still at the same time.
i might have to hire you to name my pieces for me,
i suck at naming my work, mostly why i dont,
but that is good,
i'm glad you like it,
i love it when people get into one of my pieces, and get so much out of it

i knew it was finished but there was this nagging thing about it,
but the more i look at it the more it comes together and works,
